Meet our team

At dmb we have a professional team of mountain bike guides with a huge range of national qualifications and experience of working in the outdoors. As a minimum all our guides hold the following qualifications;

CTC Mountain Bike 'Technical' Leader Award,
MLTB Summer Mountain Walking Leader Award,
'First Aid in the Outdoors'.

For school and youth groups all our guides also hold current CRB checks and Dales Mountain Biking is AALA licensed. All our activities are risk assessed and are individually planned to your requirements.

Stuart Price	CTC 'Advanced' Leader CTC Tutor/Assessor Cytech L 2 Mechanic Summer MLTB First Aid	Stu has 20 years of mountain bike experience. He's a very experienced skills coach, OTC tutor and all round mountain biking addict. Stu's favourite local trail is the famous Fremington Edge descent. With Nicola winner of the mixed pairs category of the 2007 Bontrager 24/12 endurance event
Brenda Price	CTC Technical Leader Summer MLTB First Aid	Brenda is a qualified outdoor enthusiast with a whole list of qualifications. She is currently on maternity leave from guiding, but is fully involved in the daily running of dmb. Her favourite local trail is Old Gang and Pinseat, Swaledale. 'Bren' is the wizardry behind the famed cakes that so many of you rave about!
Duncan Morrison	CTC Technical Leader Summer MLTB MIA First Aid	Duncan works full time in the outdoors and takes an active role in his local cave rescue. He's been riding for 12 years and likes his riding steep and rocky. His favourite local trail is Long Lane and down through the tunnels at Clapham.
Nicola Weaver	CTC Technical Leader Summer MLTB First Aid	Nicola's been riding for 10 years, but has worked in the outdoors for 20. One of her favourite trails is the fast grassy then rocky descent down into Gunnerside, Swaledale. With Stu she was the winner of the mixed pairs category of the 2007 Bontrager 24/12 endurance event
Jarvis Price		Jarvis is the new kid in the team. His main qualification so far is the Frosties paddle award for swimming, He's still riding his Early Learning Centre trike, and so far his favourite trail is a fast circuit around the kitchen table.
