Some Testimonials:
"As someone who never wins stuff I was pretty chuffed (and astonished) to land one of the skills day prizes at the inaugral Dales Bike Centre Cinema Night. However walking away at the end of the night somewhat coveting some of the other prizes I did start to wonder whether this old dog could be taught any new tricks. After 20 years riding you kind of like to think you've got your technique pretty much sorted. Thinking that the Steep and Rocky course would be a good day out anyway and with new elbow pads tucked in my pack I booked the course date.
Riding with friends tends not to be a critical or developmental exercise (unless you fall off of course) and those old tricks tend to be very much stuck in a skills rut (excuse the pun). Having an experienced pair of eyes watching you riding and giving constructive feedback made me make subtle changes that have definitely improved my riding. I've spent years sticking with what's comfortable, a few subtle changes combined with some new skills has made a huge difference to my downhill speed and technique - all practised in a real every day riding environment as opposed to a fabricated trail centre one.
I will definitely now take a more serious look at the other courses available and fail to see why anyone would travel miles to a trail centre to do a course that is right here in the Dales. A great course with great instruction. Thanks Stu, Brenda and Nicola."

"I attended the one day 'Steep and Rocky' skills day at DMB on Saturday 23rd May. Met by extremely happy and friendly people I knew we were in good hands. Nicola is great, fair and knowledgeable. I particularly like the part when a couple of us were 'freaking out' (beating ourselves up for not being able to do it) on the rocky section, and with her calm and positive attitude; she sat us down, calmed us down and picked us back up again. Excellent for reassuring riders developing and learning new techniques. She makes you feel good and keeps it fun.
The groups are kept small so you feel like you are getting one-on-one tuition which is what I need! I've now booked Jumps and Drops in June. Watch out boys, here I come! :-)
I would just like to add a big thank you. The team at Dales Mountain Biking are excellent and I would not worry about recommending them to anyone who wishes to grow and develop their mountain biking abilities. The cafe is also a little hidden away gem for riders, especially those home baked cakes! See you soon Dales Mountain Biking."
