Terms and Conditions

1. Enquiries
Enquiries may be made by e-mail, telephone or writing. If there is an available date for an event, a place on a course or holiday then simply complete and return a booking form to us with deposit.

2. Confirmation
All e-mail, telephone and written bookings are provisional. Once a booking form and payment/deposit is received by Dales Mountain Biking your booking is confirmed.   At this point we strongly recommend you take out holiday insurance both for your own safety and to provide cover in case you need to cancel your holiday/course - take look at these for holiday cover Sports Cover Direct. The balance of your holiday/trip is due 4 weeks before the start, we will email to remind you. 
(Cheques made payable to “Dales Mountain Biking” please).

3. Cancellation by Client
All cancellations by email or in writing. Cancellation more than 4 weeks before the event start date will result in loss of deposit.  Cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to the event start date will result in loss of the full amount paid

4. Cancellation by Dales Mountain Biking
This is very unlikely. However sometimes due to circumstances beyond our control we reserve the right to cancel at any time. If this were to occur you could choose either to receive an immediate full refund or transfer to a similar event or arrange a mutually acceptable date.

5. Responsibilities                                   
Mountain biking is a sport with an element of risk. As a participant in a mountain bike holiday, event or course you are responsible for your own actions, we cannot pull your brakes for you! Dales Mountain Biking will take every reasonable precaution to ensure your safety, if at any time you are not happy with the situation you are in please inform our representative who will act accordingly to rectify. Please bring any medical details that may effect your time with us to our attention simply by completing the medical form clearly. A suitable cycle helmet must be worn whenever riding a bike.

6. Disclaimer
Persons participating in a mountain biking holiday, event or course do so at there own risk and when doing so agree to accept any reasonable instruction given by Dales Mountain Biking representative present at the time. Dales Mountain Biking and it’s venues used will not be liable for any loss, damage, expense, injury or delay of any kind to the client, employee of the client or any third party by any act, default or omission of any kind however caused except so far as such liability cannot be excluded by law.

7. Alteration to these terms and conditions may be amended at any time.
