Tour of the Dales Enduro

For those of you looking for a real mountain biking challenge then our  Tour of the Dales Enduro is for you. The Enduro is a midweek endurance 3-day version of our exclusive 5-day supported tour.  It takes in some of the best mountain biking the Yorkshire Dales has to offer, riding all manner of terrain, exploring some real back country trails and taking in the most amazing views.  Your overnight kit is transferred each day allowing you to enjoy the riding to the full.

This is a challenging tour with rides that average 65 km and between 1500 - 2000 metres of climbing per day, mainly off-road.  The terrain is very mixed lots of single-track, ancient green lanes; moorland tracks and open high fell. Any riding on tarmac has been kept to a bare minimum.

Your guide for the tour will be one of our team of professional and qualified CTC Mountain Bike Leaders. They will ensure you get the most out of this tour whether it is sorting out a mechanical on your bike, calling in at the best teashop or pointing out features of local interest during the rides.

To ensure you get the most from your time, the tour has been meticulously planned. You require one large kitbag, which is transferred from one overnight stop to the next, meaning you only need carry enough for the days ride. A mobile workshop is there to assist with any adjustments or surgery your bike may require at the end of the day's riding.

If the unthinkable happens and your bike does give up on you, we will be able to get one of our quality hire bikes to you for the next day's riding.

The 3 nights of accommodation are mainly in star rated guesthouses or local pubs, all have secure bike storage.  Evening meal and touch of liquid rehydration will only be a short stroll away fortunately.  Your first night will be at Dales Bike Centre in our bunk accommodation.
